String Orchestra
String Orchestra is a class for high school string students who are ready to study how to shift, vibrate, and play 2 octave scales. At least two years of string instruction is recommended. Students must be able to read music well, and understand and perform intermediate level skills on a string instrument. String Orchestra students must pass the spring semester in order to continue in the spring semester.
A students current grade, work ethic, and student performance will help determine their recommendations for the following year. A final decision about placement will be based on the final performance and end of the year exam. Please refer to the handbook for more information.
