SeatingA student orchestra performs best when the strength of its members is spread evenly throughout the group. Formal seating auditions will be held periodically to determine students’ best placement in the section. Classroom seating will be determined by student musical experience, leadership skills, and quarterly grade. Your grade will reflect how well you are performing. Your seat within a section is based on where I feel your skills most benefit the ensemble. Please respect the director’s decisions in this matter; seating is not personal.
